Examys is a comprehensive government exam preparation platform serving millions of aspirants across India. The platform offers structured courses, mock tests, live classes, and AI-driven personalized learning paths for exams including UPSC, SSC, Banking, Railway, and State PSCs. Lobhari Technologies partnered with Examys to build the core platform from the ground up — handling everything from architecture and development to deployment and scaling.
India's government exam preparation market is one of the largest in the world, with over 30 million aspirants appearing for various exams annually. The traditional coaching model — physical classrooms, printed study materials, and fixed schedules — is rapidly being replaced by digital platforms that offer flexibility, affordability, and personalized learning.
However, most EdTech platforms in this space face challenges with content quality, user engagement, and delivering measurable outcomes. Students need platforms that adapt to their individual pace, identify weak areas, and provide targeted practice — capabilities that require sophisticated AI and data-driven architecture.
The platform needed to handle millions of concurrent users during peak exam seasons with sub-second response times for test delivery and result processing.
Thousands of courses, hundreds of thousands of practice questions, video lectures, and study materials — all needing version control, categorization, and dynamic delivery.
Mock tests and live exams required robust proctoring, question randomization, time-locked sections, and plagiarism detection to maintain assessment integrity.
Delivering adaptive study plans and performance analytics to each student required sophisticated ML models processing terabytes of interaction data in real time.
We adopted an agile, iterative approach with two-week sprints, beginning with a comprehensive discovery phase to understand the unique requirements of the Indian exam preparation ecosystem. Our strategy centered on three pillars:
Built on a microservices architecture from day one, ensuring independent scaling of test delivery, content serving, and analytics pipelines.
ML models power recommendations, adaptive difficulty, and performance predictions — improving continuously as more students use the platform.
Designed for India's mobile-first user base with offline support, progressive web app capabilities, and optimized data usage.

The platform follows a microservices architecture deployed on AWS EKS (Kubernetes). Key architectural decisions included:
Multi-level course hierarchy with modules, chapters, and lessons — each with progress tracking and completion certificates.
Adaptive test engine that adjusts difficulty based on performance, with instant evaluation, answer keys, and percentile rankings.
Detailed dashboards showing strengths, weaknesses, topic-wise accuracy, speed trends, and peer comparison.
AI generates daily and weekly study plans based on exam date, current proficiency, and available time.
Content team manages courses, questions, and materials through a custom admin panel — no developer involvement needed.
Integrated live streaming with chat, polls, whiteboard, and recording — supporting both 1:1 doubt sessions and batch classes.
Browser lockdown, tab-switching detection, randomized question order, and AI-powered proctoring for live mock tests.
Students can download courses, attempt tests offline, and sync results when connectivity is restored.
The design focuses on minimizing cognitive load for students who already face immense pressure from exam preparation. Key UX decisions:
Study sessions are designed to eliminate distractions — no ads, no unrelated notifications, no clutter.
Students can see their improvement trajectory with easy-to-understand charts, sparklines, and milestone celebrations.
Images are lazy-loaded, videos stream at adaptive bitrates, and the entire app works smoothly on 2G/3G networks.
Streak tracking, leaderboards, achievement badges, and daily challenges to maintain motivation and engagement.
Two-week discovery phase including stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, technical feasibility assessment, and roadmap creation.
Core platform features — course delivery, basic mock tests, user authentication, and admin panel — built in the first 8 weeks using agile sprints.
ML models for personalized recommendations, adaptive testing, and performance analytics were trained and integrated over 6 weeks.
Load testing with simulated concurrent users, CDN configuration, database optimization, and security audit before public launch.
Continuous feature additions based on user feedback, A/B testing, and performance monitoring with weekly releases.

The Examys platform represents a new generation of EdTech — combining the scale of modern cloud infrastructure with the intelligence of AI to deliver personalized learning experiences. By partnering with Lobhari Technologies, Examys was able to go from concept to launch in 6 months, with a platform architected to scale to millions of users without compromising on performance or user experience.
The platform continues to evolve with new features, improved AI models, and expanding content libraries — helping more students achieve their government exam dreams every day.
The platform uses Next.js for the frontend, Node.js microservices for the backend, PostgreSQL for data, Redis for caching, and TensorFlow for AI/ML models — all deployed on AWS EKS with Kubernetes.
Auto-scaling Kubernetes clusters, CDN caching, read replicas, and an event-driven architecture ensure the platform handles traffic spikes during exam seasons without degradation.
Yes. The platform is designed to be exam-agnostic — new exams, courses, and question formats can be added through the admin panel without custom development.
Browser lockdown, question randomization, tab-switching detection, AI proctoring, and time-locked sections ensure the integrity of all mock tests and assessments.
